Mary Jane Achey Davison, 88, of Arlington, VA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at her home with her loving husband at her side. Mary Jane was born in Chattanooga, TN, on January 5, 1929 to the late Allan Obe and Ethel Achey. She moved to the Washington D.C. area in 1955 to work for the Central Intelligence Agency. She retired in 1979 after 24 years of service for the C.I.A. Seven years of her service were spent on assignments in Germany and Switzerland. Soon after moving north, Mary Jane dropped the Mary in her name and became known to her friends and co-workers as Jane Achey.

After her retirement from government service, Jane had a second career as a real estate agent with several real estate companies where she earned many awards and commendations. Jane was a devout Christian throughout her lifetime. In her free time she enjoyed traveling, floral gardening, eating good food, listening to gospel music and spending time with her family and poodle “Coco”.

Jane was preceded in death by her brothers, Cecil D. and Allan Obe Jr. Achey, and sisters Betty June and Myrtle Irene Achey.

Jane is survived by her husband of almost 53 years, Gene. B. Davison and niece, Sandra Kay Achey, Rossville, Ga.

A graveside service will be Friday, 11 AM, at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park with Rev. Gary Harris officiating.
