Anna Maria Rothrock was the second of eleven known children of Peter Rothrock (1746-1829) and Catharine Mueller (became Miller) Rothrock (1749-1803), who married on 09 Oct 1770 at York, York County, Pennsylvania. The family moved to the Moravian settlement of Friedberg, then in Surry (area became Stokes County and then Forsyth County) County, North Carolina in 1771.

Anna married Jacob Reich (1770-1827) in Feb 1796 at Friedberg, Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. Anna and Jacob were the parents of seven known children, four girls and three boys, namely:

1. Johanna Salome Reich (1797-???)
2. Philip Reich (1799-1870)
3. Benjamin Reich (1801-1863)
4. Anna Maria Reich (1805-???)
5. Johann (John) Peter Reich (1808-1883)
6. Elizabeth Reich (1809-1811)
7. Catherine Reich Weavil (1812-1883)

The burial locations for the daughters Johanna and Anna are not known. It is presumed they died young, though there are no records attesting to this in the Moravian Archives.
