She loved to cross country ski and ride her bicycle. Eleanor took a fall color tour every year with friends and family and ate Whitefish three times a day.
She loved her business Hart Well Drilling, that she co-owned and ran with her husband Shirley W. Hart for 56 years. Eleanor loved her family especially her baby sister, Joan (Gretton) Hart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, Shirley "Bill" Hart; brother, Dale Gretton; sons, David Hart and Gerald Hart.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her sister, Joan (Gretton) Hart; son, Roy (Judy) Hart; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Ball Dunn Chapel, Mason, MI. Interment followed at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mason.
In lieu of flowers, Eleanor requested contributions be made to Hospice of Lansing, Stoneleigh Residence, Lansing, MI.
