Hazel B. Ford, 83, of 216 S. Second died Tuesday, May 4, 2005, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

Born June 25, 1921, in Smithfield to Luther and Dorothy Preece Baughman, she married Burley L. Ford on April 23, 1938, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. He died Jan. 20, 1987.

She also was preceded by two brothers, one sister and one grandson.

Surviving are two sons, Larry (and Brenda) and Dave (and Ardith), both of Cuba; one daughter, Marilyn (and Kenny) Brooks of Smithfield; one brother, Bill Baughman of Cuba; and two sisters, Bernadine Hollandsworth of Canton and Florence (and George) Brown of Warren, Ind.

She had been a cook at Smithfield Grade School and also was a certified nurse's aide at Graham Hospital for 29 years before retiring.

She also was a member of Fulton County Farm Bureau.

She was a member of Smithfield Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday school.

Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery.
