Pioneer Passes Away
At the residence of her daughter Mrs. Remi Vilandre in Cato Friday evening April 26, 1912, occurred the death of Mrs. Francis LeDuc.
Mrs. LeDuc belonged to one of the pioneer families of Ramsey county, having settled here in the early eighties. Mrs. LeDuc enjoyed the respect and confidence of a wide circle of friends and neighbors among the old settlers of Ontario and Stevens townships. She leaves to mourn her loss ten children now all married, and having homes of their own. The funeral has been delayed a few days to permit relatives from distant points to get here.
The sons and daughters woh survive a loving and devonted mother are Mrs. Remi Vilandre, Mrs. L. M. Rutten, Mrs. Clint Moore, Mrs. Napoleon Cadieux, Mrs. George Janecke, John, Louis, Joseph, Zeno, and Frank LeDuc.
A good woman has departed from earth, and her memory will long be cherished by her children and grandchildren in years to come.
The funeral was held at the Rutten Catholic church of Ontario township in the presence of a large concourse of relatives, friends, and neighbors of the deceased.
