Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, First Presbyterian Church, by the Rev. Hayward. Burial: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Riverside Pavillion, Ellis Park, with military rites. There will be no visitation. Ingred Walman Funeral Home, Phoenix, Ariz., is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Andrews; his children, Steven Andrews of Cedar Rapids, Trish Andrews of Dubuque and Gloria Odekick of Arizona; and his stepchildren, Cathy Jo Monroe and Carole Schmidt, both of Cedar Rapids, and John Carl Berge of Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Andrews and Marjorie Burlingham; a son, Gary; and two granddaughters.
Donald was born May 20, 1926.
He married Beverly on April 8, 1966 in Galena, Ill.
He took body and fender work under GI Bill and worked in Cedar Rapids and Arizona until his medical retirement.
He served in the Navy on the USS Moose Head in World War II and was a member of the Legion Hanford Post 5.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Hanford Post 5 or the Jehovah's Witness, 1221 Center Point Rd. NW, Cedar Rapids.
