ANDREW GILSDORF, horseshoeing and blacksmithing, Hilbert. Born in Waupaca Co., Wis., March 9, 1851. His father moved to Sheboygan County and bought the farm where he now lives. Andrew went to Plymouth to learn his trade when he was 15 years of age. He has always worked in the state. In 1875, he came to Hilbert and opened his shop, which is carried on in connection with the wagon department managed by his brother. In 1878, he married Miss Mary Driessel of Hilbert. They have two children, John and an infant. They are members of the Catholic church.

Father of Verona Gilsdorf, of Denver, Matt and Joe Gilsdorf of Chicago, Ill., and John Gilsdorf of Appleton, Wis. Funeral from the Olinger chapel at 8:30 Monday morning. Sept. 18. Requiem Mass at 9 o'clock at the Holy Family church. Interment at Mt. Olivet.

ANDREW GILSDORF
John Gilsdorf received a telegram from relatives at Denver, Colo., Thursday announcing the death of his father, Andrew Gilsdorf, a former resident and business man of Appleton. No particulars were given and Mr. Gilsdorf was not aware his father was ill. Decedent is survived by his widow and daughter Verona of Denver and by three sons. Matt and Joseph of Chicago, and John of Appleton.
