Born October 4, 1932 to Jess Robert and Beulah Fay (Davis) Hysell in Watonga, OK.
Marvin was a longtime resident of Oklahoma City and has been a resident of Tecumseh for the past 40 years. While proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force, Marvin married Mary Dickerson on May 3, 1952 in Drumright, Oklahoma. He retired from The Federal Aviation Administration as the metal shop foreman.
After retirement he worked as a rancher raising full blood limousine cattle. Marvin was a member of the Oklahoma Cattleman's Association and the Heart Of Oklahoma Limousine Association.
He enjoyed going hunting, raising cattle, O U Football and Thunder basketball.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; 6 sisters; and 3 brothers.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary of the home; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Loretta Hysell, Marva and Lonnie Courtney and Della and Greg Hillerman, all of Tecumseh; son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Darbi Hysell of San Antonio, TX; 9 grandchildren, Jennifer Platt, Stacy Bateman, John Platt, Shellee Spencer, Bryan Forester, Melanie Mullens, Jason Hysell, Kasey Dean, and Bailey Hillerman; two sisters, Carolyn Bullock and Betty Billings, both of Mesa, AZ; one brother Bill Hysell of Midwest City; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be, John Platt, Jason Hysell, Cary Bowers, Tom Bowers, Derek Dean, David Mullens. David L. Mullens will serve as alternate pallbearer.
