A service to celebrate James’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2018, at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur. James was born October 15, 1928, in Lebanon, KY the son of Steven E. and Lena (Mouser) Glazebrook. He married Mary Lou Hirst on May 20, 1951. She preceded him in death on July 29, 1985. James retired from AE Staley Manufacturing Company after thirty-four years of service. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Decatur.
Surviving is his daughter: Linda Scianimanico (Dave) of Newaygo, MI; daughter-in-law: Shawn Glazebrook of Springfield, IL; brother: Morris Allen Glazebrook (Shirley) of Franklin, KY; grandchildren: Courtney Hill, Tyler Jess, Darcy Glazebrook, Dylan Glazebrook, Deanna Glazebrook and Deena Scianimanico; six great-grandchildren also survive.
James was preceded in death by his wife, son: Mark, three brothers, and five sisters.
