Daryl L. Ellsworth
Palmyra: Daryl went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 26, 2017, surrounded by his loving wife, Connie Ellsworth of 42 years, children Erik Ellsworth and Jonathan (Shannon) Ellsworth and close family. Daryl is survived by his sisters, Diana (Ron) Knight, Debra (Steve) McDaniel and Donna Kraemer; grandchildren, Layla, Tori, McKenzie, MaryGrace, Robert and Liberty; uncle, Gene Ellsworth; aunt, Rae Ellsworth; best friends, Steve DeConinck and Vito Zukauskus; many nieces and nephews; several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Daryl was born on November 4, 1949 in Rochester, NY to the late Bernarr and Irene “Petey” Ellsworth. Daryl worked for over 30 years for Monroe Community College. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Palmyra Bible Baptist Church. Daryl was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and surrogate parent and family member to many. He was very friendly and a common jokester with all those around him. Daryl was an avid hunter and fisherman. Daryl’s Memorial Service will be held on Saturday (January 28) at 4 PM at Palmyra Bible Baptist Church, 1206 Canandaigua St., Palmyra, NY 14522. Interment in Marion Cemetery in the Spring.
