Isaac and Rose emigrated to America and settled in Cleveland, Ohio in 1888. They had nine children. He was a member of the Welsh Men's Choir, and died onboard ship when returning to sing with them in 1923.

Funeral Monday, September 17th. Services at Union Kinsman Congregational Church, Ramona Blvd, at E 94th St, at 2:30pm. 1865 - 1923. Interment Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio."
