She is preceded in death by husband Harold Stokes, son Gregory Harold Stokes, mother, Clara Kirk Watkins, two sisters Daisy Arnold and Mary Faith Bryan, and brother in law Bill Stokes. She is survived by husband James A. Stokes, children Bobby Stokes, Angela (Guy) Williams all of Covington, Ga. Barry (April) Stokes of Oxford, Ga. Grandchildren Kelsey (Shane) Gruber, Keaton Williams, Leland and Ryland Gentry and brother, Kirk (Shirley) Watkins of Social Circle, Ga. She was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church in Covington, Ga. Funeral services Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 1:00pm at Wheeler Funeral Home in the Chapel. Burial at Covington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends June 5, 2019 from 11:00 until 1 at the Funeral Home.
