Trobec, Joseph Kenneth Of St. Stephen, MN Passed away Tuesday, March 18 At St. Cloud Hospital. Friends and relatives are welcome to join in the celebration of Joseph's life at ST. STEPHEN CHURCH HALL on Saturday, March 22, 2008 from 9-11AM. Rev. Robert Harren will officiate at the 11AM prayer service at ST. STEPHEN CHURCH. Internment will be private at the St. Stephen Cemetery. Joseph was born June 16, 1935 in St. Cloud, MN, to Joseph and Hilda (Lubbesmeyer) Trobec. He married Bernadette Knettel June 16, 1957 at the Church of St. Stephen. Survivors include wife, Bernadette, daughters and sons Jay (Rebecca), granddaughters Amanda and Karissa of Sioux Falls, SD; Michelle of Marlborough, MA; Scott (Sarah) of St. Paul, MN; Kenneth of Minneapolis, MN; Christopher (Jannell), grandson Parker, of Afton, MN: Kara of St. Stephen, MN; and Vanessa of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by brothers and sisters Gerald, Larry, Mary Lee (Vouk), Ray, and Roger, all of St. Stephen, MN.
Joseph was a veteran of the Korean War, a city councilman of Cottage Grove, MN, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Employment included the Veterans Administration of St. Cloud, MN, Lincoln, NE, and St. Paul, MN; and the St. Paul Companies of St. Paul, MN.
