Recitation of the rosary for Helen Mary Early will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Battle Ground.

Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Early will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church.

Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver.

Mrs. Early died of causes related to age Nov. 24 in a Battle Ground nursing home. She was 83.

Born Nov. 17, 1909, in Fortuna, N.D., Mrs. Early was a homemaker. She had lived in Clark County since 1951.

A son, Richard J. Early, died in 1989.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Richard of Battle Ground; daughter, Mary Lou Salter of Port Orchard; brother, Daniel Gilday of Scottsdale, Ariz.; sisters, Adelaide Haner and Marion Gorde, both of Minot, N.D., and Genevieve Crow of Anchorage, Alaska; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
