Clara Kinuko Aiona, 97, of Hilo died March 21 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Naalehu, she was a retired florist for Hirose Nursery and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Visitation 8:30-10 a.m. Monday, April 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass at 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. Burial noon at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2.

Survived by daughter, Charlene (Kevin) Kubota of Hilo; hanai daughter, Goody (Doc) Leopoldino of Hilo; sister, Irene Balfe of Honolulu; brother-in-law, Leroy Edwards of San Diego; sisters-in-law, Vivian Araujo, Geraldine “Momi-Gerri” Aumua and Kay Taosaka of Hilo and Karen Komatsu of Honolulu; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews.
