Victoria Geloso Astorino, 88, of Hamden, former resident of Frost Drive, North Haven since 1955, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Hamden Health Care Center with her family by her side.  She was the wife of the late Michael L. Astorino.  Victoria was born in New Haven on January 14, 1926; daughter of the late Anthony and Minnie Mastrianni Geloso; had worked  for Picker International for eleven years and later for Nova Metrics for eleven years until her retirement.  Mother of Richard (Karen) Astorino, David Astorino, Michael (Debbie) Astorino, Angela Astorino and Terry (Joseph) Napierkowski. Grandmother of Richard (Laura) Astorino, Anthony, Nicholas, Felicia and Christian (Stacy) Astorino, Whitney (Jake) Kolipano, Victoria and Alexandra Castaldi.  Great-Grandmother of Hannah Clark, Sofia, Cassidy, Maggie and Lilah Astorino, Jonathan Martin and Isabella Sewell.  Sister of Carmel (Orlando) Ruotolo and the late Joseph & Angelo Geloso and Michael Mastriano. Also survived by Tyler Shields who was like another grandchild, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave, Saturday morning at 9:30.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00.  Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
