Barbara “Bobbie” Bloom, 74, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018, at her home in St. Augustine, Florida, surrounded by her family. Bobbie was born October 1, 1943 to Jack and Belle Neckowitz in Middle Village, New York City, NY. She is survived by Bertram “Bert” Bloom, her husband of 52 years; her daughter Marsha Montgomery and her husband, Jim; her grandson Jordan Montgomery and wife Kendall; her granddaughter Jamie Montgomery; her sister Ruth Newman; her brother Alan Neckowitz and wife, Kate; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother-in-law, William Newman. Bobbie was a passionate football fan, played softball with enthusiasm for many years, and enjoyed hiking and taking photos. If you asked her what her favorite activity was, however, she would undoubtedly say it was going on cruises. She loved cruises with her family, and brought home many souvenirs from her trips.
