Kenny was in the US Navy.
A native of Jasper and a former resident of Newton, he was a sales representative at ETOX Welding Supplies in Jasper.
Survivors include his mother, Katie Major, his daughters, Tana Tomplait and husband, Darwin and Brianne Harris and husband Jason, his son, Joseph Major, his brother, Ronnie Major, his sisters and brothers in law, Debbie and Tommy McMahon, Sharon and John Lewis, Sarah and Marvin Hall, Karen and Eddie Lobb, his grandchildren, Ty Tomplait, Major Harris, Miller Harris, Kahlie, Tomplait, Morgan Major, Shelby Major and Macie Kate Harris and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Edward Major.
