Agnes D. Darrah (nee Arbogast), age 93, a longtime resident of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Meadowbrook Manor of Naperville. She was born September 29, 1924 in Naperville to her loving parents, the late Louis and Anna Arbogast.

Loving wife of the late Wilbur C. Darrah, whom she married on June 11, 1949 and who preceded her in death January 24, 2018, beloved mother of Gary (Cathy) Darrah of Downers Grove, IL and William (Susan) Darrah of Oswego, IL, adored grandma of Kelly (Justin) Miller, Bess (Mike) Paull, Merry (Jordan) Overdorf, Reed Darrah, Carrie (Matthew) Giacobbe, Kimberly (Jason) Street, Christine (Peter) Rasmussen, cherished great-grandma of sixteen, dear sister of Dolores (the late Harry) Pokorny of Chandler, AZ, the late Bernard (Margaret Schultz) Arbogast, the late Bernice (James) Gallup, the late Grace (Ray) Tannenbaum, and fond aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

Agnes was proud of her Naperville heritage and her many careers, including running a diner, a dry cleaners, and being a credit agency manager. She and Wilbur spent about 20 years in the Bourbonnais area, but returned to Montgomery, Plainfield, and Naperville for the sunset period. Agnes was a long time member of The Women of the Moose, Naperville Loyal Order #1290, holding several offices. She was also a member of the Bradley-Bourbonnais Seniors Citizens Club, serving as President in 1993 to 2000. Agnes loved to cook and socialize.

Visitation Friday, June 1, 2018, 9:00-10:30 AM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville.

Inurnment will be at a later date at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
