E. COBERLY PASSES AWAY. -E. Coberly, who has for years resided near Little Elm, died at the family residence last Monday and was buried at the cemetery at Little Elm at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. With the death of Mr. Coberly the eastern part of Denton county has lost one of the best citizens which it has ever had, having lived there ever since he came to Denton county in its infancy. He made many friends and had the rare quality of retaining them. He was about eighty years of age and leaves a number of near relatives besides the host of friends who will miss and mourn for him. -Denton County News, March 23, 1899, p.5, c. 4.
