Kermit Cecil Greene age 83, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 at his residence. Mr.Greene was a resident of Hale Mountain for many years and was a retired coal miner from Clinchfield Coal. He was a member of Counts Chapel for over 50 years. Mr. Greene was an avid outdoorsman and a loving husband, father and grandfather.



Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Hale Greene; parents, Alfred and Tina Greene; two brothers and three sisters.



Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Coleman and Rick, Debbie Bolling and Rick all of Clinchco; one brother, Richard Green and Lucille of Clinchco; sisters, Margaret Edwards of Kentucky, Shelby Lowe of Dante, Linda Mooney and Ron of Clinchco, and Mavis Baker and Eugene of Clinchco; two grandchildren, Cody Mullins and Autumn Lee and Spencer; two great grandchildren, Cadence Lee and Dilan Lee.



Graveside services will be held Sunday, August 9th, 2 pm at Grace Cemetery, Nealy Ridge Road. Pastor Carl Rose will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.



This service will be held under the current COVID 19 guidelines.
