BEN McNUTT DIED ON TUESDAY NIGHT -
Ben McNutt, 68, well known citizen of Danville Route 4, died suddenly at his
home at 11:40 Tuesday night.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 o'clock this afternoon at Bald Knob
Cemetery in Lawrence County by Rev. Emmett Byars. Burial will be in charge of
Drinkard-Howell.
Mr. McNutt is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Ada Golden, of California; Mrs.
Kate McKay, of Danville; Mrs. J.S. Layton, Danville Route 4; Mrs. E.M. Owen and
Mrs. Cora Lathem, of Decatur; and Mrs. Homer Johnson, of Hartselle; four sons,
James, Oliver, George and Ed McNutt; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild;
three sisters, Mrs. Kate Sullivan, Mrs. Annie Lowery and Mrs. Mat Lindsey; one
brother, James McNutt of Mississippi.
