Burial services were held at 9 a.m. today in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin cemetery for O'Neil Prejean, 72, who died at 1 a.m. yesterday at his home in Bosco, Acadia Parish, LA. Rev. E. Bissonette conducted services.
Survivors include his widow, the former Bella Comeaux of Bosco; one son, Alibe Prejean of Bosco; one daughter, Mrs Ruby Prejean of Rayne; two brothers, Vilior Prejean of Bosco and Albert Prejean of Rayne; two half-brothers, Cleopha Prejean and Joseph Prejean, both of Nederland TX; five sisters, Mrs. Willie Benoit of Vatican, Mrs. Polite Arceneaux of Cankton, Mrs. Adam Savoie of Thibodeaux, Mrs. Dudley Prejean and Mrs. Rene Chiasson of Carencro ; two half-sisters, Mrs. Dalton Guidry and Helen Prejean of Lafayette; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren .
