Esther is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Donald Blair of Bean Station; daughter, Sonja Fawn White of Knoxville; grandsons, Jason and Aaron White, of the home; sister, Virginia Johnson Monks of Quinton, OK; brother, Reverend M. David Johnson of Albany OR; several nieces and nephews.
Esther grew up in Quinton, OK, graduated from Apostolic College High School, Tulsa, OK; earned a BS in Business and Education from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, OK; Th.B and Th.M (Theology) from Pentecostal Bible Institute; Tupelo, MS and graduate work in counseling at University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS. She taught 6thgrade in Pryor, OK, was an instructor at Pentecostal Bible Institute and Gateway College of Evangelism and was Principal of Christian Education Center.
Ester was a pastors wife for 56 years. She especially loved working in Sunday School and ladies work, and she was a gracious hostess and an exquisite seamstress and tailor.
Esther was a member of Christian Evangelism Center, Morristown, TN which was founded by her husband.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Sparks of Knoxville Apostolic Church officiating. Esther was laid to rest beside her husband in Bethesda Cemetery.
