Born in Greenville County, SC she was a daughter of the late Homer and Virginia Jones Capps. She retired after 32 years from Gayley Mill where she worked in Planning. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a member of Marietta First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School through the years.
Surviving is her husband of 47 years, Rube James Crain; 4 Children, Jimmy Crain and wife Mary, Keith Crain and wife Gwen, Patti Dunn and husband Tim, Mark Crain and wife Stephanie; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Crain; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two sons, Gene and Randy Crain and two brothers, Bill and Bob Capps.
Burial in Mountain View Memorial Park.
