* Graveside service for Mr. Harris Rountree, 72, of Jacksonville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Carmel Cemetery. The Reverend William Cain will officiate.

Mr. Rountree passed away May 16, 2018 at Jacksonville Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harris and Ruby Lois Rountree; son, Gregory Harris Rountree; sisters, Betty Ford, Laura Slaght, Evelyn Jones, and Peggy Taylor; and sister-in-law, Shirley Ford.

Mr. Rountree was a native of Jacksonville.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, daughter, two grandsons, brother, sister, brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
