Mr. Forster came to Rome from Cleveland, Ohio, in 1913, and was associated with the Rome Furniture and Cabinet Co., until his retirement a few years ago. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Chuck" to his many friends in this community.
Surviving were two sons, Terrance Forster, of Rome; and Earl Forster, of Shelbyville, Indiana; a sister, Mrs. Michael M. (Caroline M.) McIntyre of Cleveland, Ohio; five grandchildren; a niece, Mrs. H. B. Jolly, of Rome; and a nephew, R. F. Forster, of Rome. A number of other nieces and nepews also survived.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 5:00 o'clock in the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home. Officiating was Mrs. Robert Guffin, Reader, assisted by Dr. Bunyan Stephens. Interment was made in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Henry Simmons, Dr. T. C. Mason, G. B. Andrews, Bon Conaway, Walker Arnold, and Sam McCullough.
