PER THE TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH RECORDS, PAGE 58, NUMBER 178: LULA WAS THE WIFE OF LOUIS SCHWEKE, BORN KING, A MARRIED WOMAN IN FRELSBURG, TEXAS. SHE WAS BORN IN SALEM, TEXAS, NEAR BRENHAM, TEXAS. CAUSE OF DEATH: CHILD BED, PREMATURE BIRTH. AGE: 32 YEARS, 2 MONTHS, 30 DAYS. SURVIVORS: THE BEREAVED HUSBAND AND 4 CHILDREN. REMARKS: P. LENTZ AND WIFE SANG A DUET.

Frelsburg , Tex. , Feb. 5. - Mrs. Lula Schwecke, wife of Louis Schwecke, died at her home on the 2d inst. Her remains were laid to rest in the New Ulm Cemetery on the 3d. [Galveston Daily News (Galveston, Texas) Saturday, February 6, 1904.

Suggested edit: Lula and Louis Schwecke had another son (unnamed) born and died in 1900. He is buried in the children's section toward the highway of the New Ulm Cemetery. The fourth living child mentioned in the obituary was Isabel Rosalind Schwecke Baumgarten (born 1902), who is buried in the Schulenburg, Texas Cemetery.
