Philip Renaldo, 93, of Roseto, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice Unit, Allentown, surrounded by his loving family. Philip was born in Roseto on Nov. 12, 1924, a son of the late Anthony and Lucia (Marino) Renaldo. He and his beloved wife, the former Concetta Piccerillo, were married for 68 years last August.

He worked as a foreman in various garment factories in the Slate Belt area for over 45 years. Philip was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading all kinds of books, especially history. He was proud of all the accomplishments of his loving nieces and nephews. Philip was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church Roseto and UNITE-the garment workers union.

In addition to his wife, Concetta, he is survived by a son, Dr. Thomas and his wife, Peg Renaldo, of Allentown, and two grandchildren, Rebecca Jones and her husband, Clift, of Emmaus and Mark Renaldo of Allentown. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jane; sisters Concetta Renaldo and Rose Armelin, and brothers, Anthony, Nicholas, Michael, and Peter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 17, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Third & Garibaldi aves., Roseto. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, May 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. only in the Fiore Funeral Home , 230 Market Street, Bangor. Burial will be in the New Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Roseto.
