Mrs. Margaret H. Cooper, 72, of 651 North 65th St., Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Saturday at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was a lifelong area resident. Margaret was a bookkeeper for the Foley Electric Company for 32 years and then worked as a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell for 15 years before retiring in 1972. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kansas City, Kansas, and also a member of the Wyandotte Rebekah Lodge. Mrs. Cooper was survived by her husband, Roy Dale Cooper, of the home; a stepson, Roy Dale Cooper Jr. of Shawnee; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Emily Foley of Independence, Mrs. Alice O'Connor of San Bernardino, California, and Mrs. Ruth Taylor of Porum, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Highland Park Chapel, Kansas City, Kansas. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the Highland Park Chapel. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
