Alberta "Bertie" Brumagen Earlywine, age 90, of Mount Olivet, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, at her residence. She was born in Robertson County, Kentucky, on November 15, 1927, to the late William and Mary Brumagen. She was a farmer, an avid quilter, a cook and a member of First Christian Church, in Mount Olivet.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: four sisters, Clark Gifford, Mary Ruth Evans, Cloe Ellis and Rose Mary Earlywine; and three brothers, Jack Brumagen, Chambers Brumagen and Woodrow Brumagen. She is survived by: her husband of 66 years, Chester "Chick" Earlywine; an adopted daughter, Martha Jane Poe; two grandchildren, Josh (Maggie) Poe and Mackenzy (Brian) Poe; five great-grandchildren, Isaac, Charli, Sofie, Hunter and Jewell; a special nephew, Perry Gifford; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Tom Mitchell. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
