He married 1st Dec 17, 1868, in Iowa to Sarah L. Holt, daughter of George Holt and Amy Ford. She was born September 21, 1847, in Ringgold County, Iowa, and died August 28, 1874, in Jasper County, Missouri.
He married 2nd October 30, 1875, to Sarah's sister, Ella Holt, She was born May 18, 1858, in Marshall County, Iowa, and died January 11, 1911, in Missouri.
He married 3rd February 21, 1912, to Olive Bowsman. She was born May 13, 1858, in Ohio, and died January 14, 1951, in Carl Junction, Missouri.

Mrs. Yaryan died in 1874, in this county. Mr. Yaryan was again married Oct. 30, 1875, to the daughter of George and Amy Holt, of Joplin. Miss Ella was born May 18, 1858, in Marshall county, Il. Funeral Services Tomorrow Morning at 10:30 at First M. E. Church
James T. B. Yaryan, 83 years old, resident of Jasper county for 60 years and former county treasurer, died at 9:25 o'clock SAturday night at his home 611 Howard street.
Mr. Yaryan had been in ill health the last two years, suffering from heart trouble. While he was forced to retire from active business and remain at his home most of the time, he was bedfast only for short periods following a heart attack. He suffered an attack Saturday morning and his condition gradually grew worse.
Mr. Yaryan was born January 29, 1848 near Ottumwa, Iowa. He came to Jasper county in 1870 from Iowa and settled on a farm about five miles north of Joplin, coming overland in a covered wagon. He later moved to a farm northwest of Carl Junction, living there until 1906, when he and his family moved to Carthage.
He was elected to the office of county treasurer in 1906, which office he held six years. He was elected justice of the peace 12 years ago and served in that capacity until two years ago, when his health failed and he was compelled to retire.
He was the youngest member of Stanton Post, Grand Army of the Republic, of which organization he had served as commander several years. He served in the Union Army as a member of Company F., 22nd Iowa Volunteers, having entered during the latter part of the war.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Olive Bowsman Yaryan, to whom he was married February 21, 1912 in Carthage; two daughters, Mrs. Della Harmon of Joplin and Mrs. Nellie Wisegarver of Carthage; four sons; B. H. Yaryan, George Yaryan, Ray Yaryan and Ross Yaryan.
Mrs. Ella Yaryan, the mother of Mr. Yaryan's children, passed away on January 10, 1910 just 20 years preceding Mr. Yaryan's death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock tomorrow morning at the First Methodist Episcopal Church. The Rev. F. H. Ebright, pastor will be in charge. Burial will be in the Carl Junction Cemetery. Members of the G. A. R. will conduct their flag service at the church.
