ROSEBUD BONJOUR August 5, 1915 - August 23, 2000Edith Rosebud Bonjour, age 85, was born August 5, 1915 in Thomas, New Mexico. Rosebud is survived by her daughter, Sheree Cannon of Floydada, Texas; her daughter-in-law, Sara Bonjour of Amarillo; brothers, Vincent Crisp of Clayton, Norman Crisp of Amarillo, TX; three sisters, Martha Wood of Mountainair, Lorrenne Rigsby of Austin, TX, and Loretta West of Littleton, CO; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Bonjour; and her son, Buddie Bonjour. Rosebud was the daughter of the late Ira Nain and Minnie A. Crisp, early Union County homesteaders. She attended school in Mansker, New Mexico and married Virgil on January 16, 1935 in Clayton. She was a longtime employee of Fedway Department Stores in Amarillo. Having lived in Amarillo for many years, she moved to Floydada in 1994. She died in Floydada Rehab and Care Center on August 23, 2000. Rosebud's grandson, the Reverend Darrell Bonjour, officiated at her Funeral service held on Saturday, August 26, 2000. She was interred in the Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas, next to her husband, Virgi

Rosebud Crisp Bonjour is a Mayflower descendant through her father Ira Crisp. She is descended from James, his wife and daughter Mary Chilton, Thomas Rogers and Richard Warren.
