Carol J. Adams, 53, of Sarver died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, at her sister's home in Kittanning, after a four-month battle with cancer.

She was born April 13, 1952, to David Ross and Clara (Cawley) Adams.

She was the co-owner of King Lanes. She was a member of the Tuesday night Allegheny Bowling League, The Dam Quilters, the Retreads Motorcycle Club and the Gold Wing Riders Association. She enjoyed gardening, her cats and traveling.M

She received her master's degree in business management from Carnegie Mellon University and her bachelor's degree in chemistry biology from Geneva College.

She is survived by her fiance, B.B. "Bud" Carrier of Sarver; her mother, Clara (Cawley) Adams of Kittanning; a sister, Doris Adams and her companion, John Turner, of Kittanning; and a few extended family members who include, Sherry Piffer and her husband, Charles, of Sarver, and Kim Woods of Sarver.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Ross Adams, on Feb. 5, 2004.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the BAUER FUNERAL HOME, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John Snyder officiating. Interment will be at Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.
