W.O. CARTER DIED AT IDABEL JAN. 9.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Coffey Funeral Home at Idabel for W.O. Carter, an ex-Confederate soldier, who died there Wednesday, January 9. Burial was made in the Denison cemetery Monday morning at 11 o'clock.
The deceased is survived by a son, O.B. Carter, Fort Smith, Arkansas, and a daughter, Miss Margaret Carter, of Omaha, Nebr., who attended the funeral. He was also a relative of Capt. W.A. Carter, of Broken Bow.
