According to a post on Genealogy.com, Aaron Manor Jr was the son of Aaron Josiah Manor and Mary Langston. His father served in the 1776 Battle of Kings Mountain.

Aaron Jr. married Rhoda Smith December 20, 1794 in North Carolina. The couple had at least three children:
Levi Manor b. 1804 NC. d. 1839 TN (m. 1824 to Levina Jarratt)
Martha Manor b. 1807 NC d. 1877 TN (m. 1823 to John J. Jarratt)
David Smith Manor

According to a probate record filed in Edgecombe County, August 1809, Aaron Manor had died that month "intestate", leaving his widow Rhoda Manor to ask that the county provide her one year's provision.

After Aaron died, his wife Rhoda remarried to Archelaus Jarratt (1764-1830) and had at least three more children with him, making their home in Rutherford County, Tennessee.
