Lorena Plaster McNealy, daughter of Thomas and Stella Richman Plaster, was born on September 25, 1920 in Odin, Missouri. She departed this earthly life Monday, April 30, 2018 in her home near Hartville, at the age of ninety-seven years.

On December 7, 1940, Lorena was united in Marriage to Ezra Clifford McNealy and the two were together until Ezra's passing in January of 1990.

Lorena is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Ezra; three sisters, Eula Kilmer, Eilene Admire, and Bernice Lowery; a brother, Owen Plaster; and a half-brother, Gus Rippee.

Lorena is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and dear friends.

Lorena was born and raised in the Odin area and went to school at the Newton School House and later Mansfield High School. While she was in high school she met and fell in love with Ezra and later married in December of 1940. Shortly after Lorena and Ezra were married they moved to California and began working on a dairy. When they were ready and raised enough money, they moved back to Hartville and started their own farm.

Lorena was baptized at a young age and attended the Church of God every Sunday with Ezra where she was also a regular Sunday school teacher. Later, after Ezra's passing, Lorena attended the Grace Outreach Church. She met many people at church and her friendship was cherished by many.

Lorena was a farmer's wife and with that role she worked and had almost no time for play. However, when the brief moment of free time came, Lorena liked to crochet, cook, and can whenever she had the chance. Most of all, she loved spending time with her dear husband and family. She was a loving wife, aunt, great-aunt, and caring friend. We celebrate her wonderful life and will always cherish the many happy memories she created.

Memorial donations to Grace Outreach Church may be made through the funeral home.
