Mrs. Thelma Bernice Dougherty, age 96, of Melbourne, FL passed away April 27, 2018.
Mrs. Dougherty was born September 10, 1921 in Scotland, IN to the late Clarence Cornelius and Ola Eaton Dowden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter L. Dougherty; a grandson, Scott Gray; two sisters, Bonnie Schaad and Betty June Dowden; and two brothers, George Dowden and James Dowden.
She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Gray, of Waco; her son, Terry Dougherty, of Melbourne, FL; two granddaughters, Jacqueline Gray and Debbra and Don Nunz; three great-grandchildren, Greg Gray, Crystal Davis and Jacob Gray; two great-great-grandchildren, Alexis Chrzan and Candace Chrzan; and two sisters, Marjorie Overton of Oden, IN and Lois Boruff of Linton, IN.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 4:00PM from Waco Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Shadrix officiating followed by the interment.
