Richard Clarence "Dick" Campbell, 56, Idabel, died at McCurtain Memorial hospital early Wednesday following an extended illness.
Born July 11, 1903 at Paris, Tex., he had resided in Idabel most of his life. He was an inspector for the state highway department and he was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. I. K. Wilson, Idabel; Miss Alleen Campbell and Mrs. Dudley E. Brown, both of Dallas, Tex.; Mrs. Grady Wooten of Hugo; Mrs. Basil Dirato, North Vale N. J. ; and three brothers Weldon Campbell, Idabel; John W. Campbell, Tulsa, and A. D. Campbell, Tripoli, Libya.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Coffey funeral home.
