Mrs. Inger O. Magnuson, age 90, of St. Paul, formerly of Sauk Centre, passed away at the Parkway Manor Nursing Home in St. Paul Tuesday, Aug. 27, 1974. She was born in Kenyon, Minn., on June 28, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Germundson. In June of 1904 she was united in marriage to Manfred Magnuson of Cannon Falls, Minn.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in St. Paul and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre. Her husband preceded her in death in 1929[sic]. Surviving are five children: Mrs. Luella Haessley, Mrs. Charles Magnuson, Mrs. James (Marcella) Schaefer and Merlin Magnuson, all of St. Paul; and Mrs. Everett (Shirley) Anderson of Osakis. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 pm at the Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Aumann officiating. Vocalist was Sandy Gamradt and organist was Gail Gamradt. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Corrigan Funeral Home, Sauk Centre. Pallbearers were Douglas Puariea, Michael Haessly, Alan Anderson, Merlin Magnuson Jr., Mark LaBarre and Darryl Magnuson.
