Connie entered life May 16, 1929 in Beaumont, Texas and departed at Health Park South in Fort Myers, Florida on April 4, 2007, surrounded by her family. Connie leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Ed, who is profoundly sad. Her love will be "Paid Forward" by her three children, Mary Ellen (Don), Amanda, and William (Rose) 6 grandchildren and scores of best friends. Connie was a vivacious woman who enjoyed life completely. Full of love, she brought happiness and vitality to the things she did and those she encountered along the way. A florist by training, Connie had many successful careers. She was the first woman insurance salesperson for Metropolitan Life in the Boston area, a teacher of English in Japan, a Welcome Wagon Lady, a Girl Scout Commissioner, and a small business owner. She was an avid volunteer, lover of parties and all things Christmas. In every aspect of life, people were her passion and crafting her joy. Her most recent adventure was with the Project Linus where she was blessed by every aspect of her involvement as the chapter coordinator for Lee County. She was continuously amazed by the depth of talent and good heartedness she encountered in the people she connected with over her 5 years of service. We wish to thank the nurses at Health Park South and Dr. Conrado for their tender care of mom and for enjoying her in what became her final hours. We thank God for blessing us with such an amazing mom and wife.
