Mrs. Beulah Harley Fitts, 87, widow of R. Ray Fitts, died yesterday in a local nursing home. She was born in Orangeburg county, daughter of the late G. A. and Elizabeth Williamson Harley. She was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. H. V. Kull, Mrs. William McManus and Mrs. Harry Morrison of Columbia and Mrs. Lester Young of Charleston; five sons, J. E. Fitts of Gaston, George Fitts of West Columbia, Glenn Fitts of Bakersfield, Calif.; Ralph Fitts of Charleston and Walton Fitts of Lexington; and a brother, L. A. Harley of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Joseph Hogan, the Rev. C. Wilson Poston and the Rev. Matthew Rabon at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow in Colonial Heights Baptist Church. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be John E. Fitts Jr., Glenn McManus, Fred K. Morrison, Joseph R. Paterson III, Herbert Fitts, and Ronald Fitts.
