Darlene Leinweber passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Boerne, Texas. Darlene was born April 28, 1930 in Castroville, Texas, the youngest child of Frank Tschirhart and Martha Tschirhart. She married the love of her life, Elton A. (Tony) Leinweber on November 13, 1948 and they settled in San Antonio, Texas. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a very skilled seamstress and also loved cross-stitch, quilting, cooking and gardening.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, sister Edna Clement, brother Claybourn Tschirhart, and her son Russell Leinweber.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Elton A. (Tony) Leinweber; daughter, Beverly Owens and husband Neal Owens; grandchildren Katie Krause, Kristen Williams and Elizabeth Klossen; great-grandchildren Hayden Williams, Noah Williams, Benjamin Williams and Noelle Klossen. The family wishes to thank her caregivers at Heritage Place Assisted Living and Kendall House at Menger Springs in Boerne who so lovingly cared for her.
