Mr. Bunch was born in this county October 8, 1859, and this was his home the greater part of his life. In October, 1928, he left for Eastland, Texas, hoping that a change of climate would prove beneficial but he remained only a year. He returned to Springdale, about two months ago and spent the remainder of his life in the hospital there.
He was married to Miss Susan Allred in 1877, who preceded him in death, 12 or 14 years ago, and to this union six children were born, five of whom survive. They are A. B. Bunch and Mrs. Nora Frank of Fort Worth, Texas; Mrs. Mattie Chism of Iola, Kansas; Mrs. Sallie Wright of Springdale; and Grover Bunch of Walters, Oklahoma. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters; C. B. Bunch of Dinsmore, Arkansas; Henry Bunch and N. N. Bunch of Berryville; Mrs. Alice Stamps of Kingston and Mrs. Mary Smith of Dinsmore.
Funeral services conducted by Revs. L. B. Davis and Frank Shane were held at the local Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment was in the Rush cemetery south of Berryville.
