Mary ELizabeth Larkin, 68, of Harwich passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Dan and Mary Larkin. Mary was raised in Milton and summered with her family in Harwich. She graduated from Milton High School and attended Katherine Gibbs School in Boston and Digital University as well as Harvard University in the School of Industrial Marketing Management. She was married and divorced from Dan Locke, and had a daughter, Rebecca Ann Locke and two grandchildren, Yvelisse Rosado and Aubrielle Rose. She enjoyed having special time with her grandchildren. Mary was proud to be part of the Larkin family. Larkins had been on the Cape since 1862 and Mary was a fifth generation Larkin.
Mary was a sales account executive with twenty years of experience providing customer solutions in tele-communications and information technology. She worked for Digital Equipment Corporation, CTC Communications and Lucent Technology.
Mary moved to Cape Cod, living in Harwich and worked as a realtor and nursery manager with Gardens By The Sea.
Mary enjoyed a long partnership with Rocky (George Rockwood Clark) to whom she was engaged. Mary was on the board of Family Pantry ( founded by her father) and was active with the Council on Aging. Mary listened and communicated well even with Generals, who were her clients. She was witty and maintained a wonderful sense of humor and brought people out. "Have Mary call me, Rocky." In addition to her daughter and grandchildren, Mary is survived by her partner, Rocky; her brother, Dan and his wife Kate; her sister, Gail McHugh and her daughter, Cara. A memorial service will the held in the spring.
