A native of Central, she was the daughter of the late John William and Mary Delura Satterfield Kay. She was a member of the Cannon Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Virginia Gibson, Central; sisters, Hazel James, Anderson, Juanita and her husband, Frank, Leopard, Walhalla; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Gibson; and three sisters, Gladys Scott, Pauline Wilson and Gaynell Nealy.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery.
