Robert Ealie Stuart Is Death Victim
Resident Of Clinton For Past 25 Years
Robert Ealie Stuart, age 58, a resident of Clinton for the past 25 years, passed away at a local hospital yesterday after an illness of several months.
Mr. Stuart was born Feb. 5, 1886 at Pulaski and had been a shoe salesman in Mississippi and Louisiana for a number of years.
He is survived by his wa
ife, Mrs. Ruth Adams Stuart, Clinton; two daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Lassetter of Clinton and Mrs. Marjorie Thornton of New Orleans, La.; a son, Oscar M. Stuart, Clinton; four brothers, J. A. Stuart of Boaz, Ala., Oscar R. Stuart of Jackson, W. G. Stuart of Greenwood and O. C. Stuart of Terry; two sisters, Mrs. R. D. Cooper of Meridian and Mrs. R. L. Thompson of Forest; and a grandson, Robert Thornton of New Orleans.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Stuart home in Clinton this afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. James A. Sullivan and Dr. A. A. Kitchings officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be S. E. Leverett, W. B. Langston, B. R. Albritton, J. L. Epting, Fred Ratliff and A. K. Godbold.
