CLINTON - Ruth A. Stuart, 99, died of a blood clot Thursday at her home.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at the Clinton First Baptist Church with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Stuart, an Ackerman native, was a longtime resident of Clinton. She was a music major at Blue Mountain College and member of the Delphian Literary Club.
Mrs. Stuart was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton, where she taught Sunday school classes and participated in the Womens' Missionary Union.
Survivors include: son, Oscar Money Stuart of Kingwood, Texas; daughters, Genevieve Lassetter of Clinton and Majorie Clark of Vicksburg; and 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
