Son of Samuel Howard and Chloe. Married Hannah Lewis.

Dates from Frances Y Dunham ' Howards in Southeast Kentucky', which gives alternate death dates of 12/24/1867 and 3/3/1868. Adron's death is mentioned in the ' Defeated Creek Diary'. The new Harlan County High School is built on Adron's farm. His home was reportedly across US119, where a large barn now stands. Adron and Hannah's burial place is not known. Some possiblities:
1. High Bank Cemetery near the intersection of US 421 and US 119. Adron's parents, Sam and Chloe, were originally buried here.
2. Ross Point Cemetery. Two of Adron's children are buried here.
3. an abandoned cemetery in a field on Howard Lane (runs off US119)
All these places are within a mile of Adron's homestead.
