WILLISTON, N.D. - Elaine Diane Zarr, 56, Williston, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center in Williston. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at Perry Funeral Home, Mandan, with Pastor Delbert Lange officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Perry Funeral Home and one hour before the service.
Elaine was born May 5, 1949, at Bismarck, to Ben and Violet (Burtts) Clooten. She was raised and educated in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1967. She married Ronald E. Zarr on Aug. 14, 1970. Elaine worked several years for the Bismarck Police Department before moving to Williston in 1975, where she worked at Bethel Lutheran Home.
She is survived by her husband Ronald, Williston; one daughter, Dawn Marie Zarr, Bismarck; one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Betsy Zarr, Bismarck; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Blaine and Coleen Clooten and Dwayne and Paulette Clooten, all of Bismarck; one granddaughter, Brittany Ann Zarr; and three nieces.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents.
Arrangements are being made by Perry Funeral Home, Mandan.
